While exploring Guelph Junction recently (CN Guelph Junction, not CP Guelph Junction)
I came across this building at the Junction, and according to the sign it is "CN Rail Production Rail Maintenence East, Guelph, ON". Does anyone know what this building was used for?

Looks like a transfer station where freight would come off of the freight cars and be transferred to trucks.

Later!

Joe,

Judging by the name on the building, it is part of MOW infrastructure to maintain CN's fleet of production rail gang equipment. The dock doors are probably to receive shipments of parts and supplies to a warehouse/stockroom that would distribute them per work requests towards the ongoing maintanance and operation of CN's rail gang(s).
