The Railroad Museum of PA has put almost 15,000 images from their extensive archive online.

Visit http://www.rrmuseumpa.org/about/library/search.shtml

Make sure you select "Limit to records with images" to get results with thumbnails. There are a lot of anthracite railroads, coal and steel mill images.

The museum archive has tremendous photo resources and I have purchased many for use in modeling projects as well as to accompany articles.
