I am sure a lot of organizations on here have exhibits with place cards explaining the items you are showing, but place cards have limited space on them. For this reason "QR Code" can come in very handy this little bar code can be placed on your place cards and anyone using a smart phone with the right software can just snap a photo of the code and be directed to a URL for instance would lead you to this website, you could use this to direct your patrons to a more detailed page explaining additional information about the equipment. They have used this system in Japan for awhile and I have seen it starting to be used at Best Buys here in the US, I am sure this app will become more and more wide spread and it will help make your origination a little more interactive.

Oh and best of all it's free.
