I have put some of my photos of the East Broad Top's Santa Trains online at:
http://www.dementia.org/~adams/ebt/2010dec5/2010dec5thumb.html

This is the first time the EBT has run a steam engine in December since the old Winter Spectaculars, and is a deliberate progression from the diesel-powered Santa Trains run last year.

How well did sales go? Was attendance everything the EBT managers hoped it would be?
Thanks for any information.

Nice photos. Sadly, I didn't see a lot of people in the coaches.

I am told Saturday ridership was quite good. I was there on Sunday and it seemed about normal Sunday ridership to me. Of course, many of my photos were taken while the train was at the platform and folks were in the station with the hot chocolate and cookies, and the open car didn't see many riders, brrrr!

The end result is the railroad management seemed pleased and there's some room to grow.
