In the 70's, the Valley Railroad in Essex had Adlake Lanterns made for them.
The Superheater company was absorbed into Combustion Engineering

Not quite true. There is currently Fairbanks Morse Engine, Fairbanks Morse Scale and Fairbanks Morse Pump, three separate and independent corporate spin offs from the corporate lineage that absorbed the original Fairbanks Morse Company. None of the three is really the old Fairbanks Morse Company.

The Pilliod Company, which made the Baker Valve Gear, survived until 1998 doing other sorts of machine work when it was taken over by other related business so in some sense it still survives.
