We finished putting our streetcar #21 back together again last evening and took it out on a shake down run. Last summer we broke an axle and decided to have both axles replaced. A big thanks goes to Paul Ganter, Jim Lyons and the rest of the staff at Lyons Industries who manufactured the new axles, did all the press work and reprofiled the wheels for us. Their workmanship was exceptional and they were really great to work with. Another big thanks goes to all of our own volunteers who helped put everything back together again. A little over a week ago #21's running gear was a pile of parts on a flat car.
