Lighten up folks. I'm as curious as the rest of us about what this really is. This is crunch time in the school year. We just have to have patience. (I'm in California so the field trip would be difficult for other reasons.)

Yep, that lost loco is hiding under the big "W"

Daylight, I still don't understand why you haven't pointed your cousin to a site like rrpictures.net to look at some locos and rolling stock to get a better idea of what he may have found. That doesn't take much effort and may help until you can get out there.

I'll try and send some pics to my cousin. See what matches best. Why didn't I think of that earlier

I'll be sending my cousin some pictures today (thank god for Facebook) of things train-related, C-liners, RS-11s, PAs, steamers, box cars, coaches, tank cars, train masters, and some of the New Haven electrics as well as some switchers like S1s and RS1s. Also included is the FM Talgo-thing. Might as well cover all the bases, and it gives me a better idea of what's there when I see it next weekend.

From what I have seen of this board, I would suggest that you produce something soon, or not post until you can. I can feel the tension through the fiber optic lines. lol

Yah. Well, he said the tank car pic I sent him looked like whatever is in the woods :(
Well, no need to cry over spilled milk. If it's a steamer, it's only going to take a week to find out now. Even if it is a tank car, i'd put in the effort on pulling it out. The effort (anyone for an East Brookfield Depot?) I'm working on now could always use a railcar display.

There is nothing coming out of this topic other than complaints. If anyone uncovers new information related to railway preservation please feel free to start a new thread with valid information. This thread is locked.

Maybe it won't work out. But maybe seeing if it does will be the best adventure ever.
