As of this morning, www.steamlocomotive.info now has photos of 7000 steam locomotives world wide. I think this is maybe some sort of accomplishment, but not really sure what.

I'll gladly supply the adjective: It's wonderful.

I think back how excited I was twenty years ago to discover Mr. Conrad's directory at the old Kroch's & Brentano's in downtown Chicago. (Still a great resource.) Now we have this information at the tips of our fingers, constantly updated and expanded. Not to mention being able to interact with like-minded folks online. Not all change is bad!

Great, now the scrappers have an easy resource for locating acquisitions.

Thanks Dave; but while I have collected information on 40,000 steam engines of all kinds and 6000+ photographs; it is Doug Bailey's wonderful steamlocomotive.info website that the Admin was referring to. I have contributed pictures and and info to it as well. Congrats; Doug.
