Just passing this on to the group. A young person I know is doing the administration on the this Facebook page and although his grammar and spelling are not the best, it does have some good information and photos of the 643. And yes Andrew and his Father do know Mr. Campbell, so most of the info would/should be accurate.

Its good to know its not being ignored and potential progress is ongoing. It sounds rediculous to have to retube it, I think they did the tubes like 765 was in its original restoration, they cut and re-fitted the original tubes. It worked. Probably normal weather temperature stresses might do things to the tubes, so it sounds fair to do that. All the time of sitting you may as well inspect the cylinders and do a look over again.
