Now, that action by the police sounds like official menacing or intimidation, which is just simply outrageous - like the FBI raids on Quaker peace activists of recent years. The local group needs to nip this crap in the bud quickly. Local elected officials need to be reminded that they work FOR the voters, and their positions are TEMP jobs!

Trains aren't "motor vehicles" so you can't treat them as such.

“Motor vehicle" includes all vehicles propelled otherwise than by muscular power,

To be fair, this issue goes back to the 2006 time frame under a different mayor and township administrator. I would suggest people lay off the political comments as it does not help the situation, keeping in mind that the issue dates back over multiple administrations and that the township may be reading these posts. Let's see what happens in court next week and hope for the best.
