I found Prints on # 1187 on facebook through a page called Friends of Reading Railroad .
It looks like the compete locomotive is there. Here's one of the prints.

Reading Man, thank you for the blue prints. I own a 1/8th live steamer of the A5a class, and the additional information is welcomed.

Update in the form of a photo:

Bonus point: Spot the error in the caption.

Discussion topic: how much worse does this appear than how another certain, more "controversial," Camelback appeared some years ago?

Too easy. I got it, but I'm not saying.

Yes easy. Question though; the EMD switcher in the background has an NYC style number on the cab. Genuine NYC or not?

Yes, it's the genuine NYC 8618.

Wayne -

Thanks. The short line railroad (Chesapeake & Indiana) that is our museums outside rail connection, has reportedly begun a restoration of their ex-New York Central SW-7 #8853. This engine has been used by an on-line grain elevator to switch cars. Not sure exactly what is being done to the locomotive, but supposedly there is also a plan to repaint it from its very worn Conrail blue paint. Can we hope for a repaint to NYC black with white lettering? I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Which one, the typo in one of the engine numbers, or the omission of the two early Reading locomotives at the Franklin Institute?
