Ad for the two-foot gauge Shay that ran for a time at the old Magic Mountain site near Golden, Colorado.

Looks like a full sized shay with a 1/2 scale boiler!

The thing I can remember when this locomotive ran at the High Country Railroad at Heritager Square was that it was real slippery and would only pull 2 coaches on their line.

Boy I thought 200K was alot to ask for a full size Climax. A half size Shay now... Guess a dollar doesn't go as far anymore.

Every couple of years he puts out another advertisement, and every time the price goes up another $25,000. I remember quite a few years ago when the price was only $150,000. . . .

Yes, DF Barnhardt featured this loco once and even then it was listed for less than it is now.
