#7's frame is almost a Brunswick green in appearance. The pilot truck was completely re-machined and rebuilt in the shop, with new steel replacing stressed out items. They expect reassembly in the next two weeks.

I'm 99% sure that Chris works at the GV Roundhouse and would know the best as to what color it is ;)

Richard, the color is almost like Brunswick Green! The current olive color is closer to Baldwin colors than the more greenish appearance when Henry Ford displayed it in the museum. About that lead truck, the only thing that was retained was the springs, wheels and axles. All the other parts are brand new!

The picture from earlier this year shows the lead truck almost complete.

That truck looks great. Can't wait to see her finished in a year or two.
