Would like to inform everyone of a Power Point History of the Quakertown and Eastern Railroad. The presentation will be at the historic Quakertown Train Station, Sat., Nov. 19, 7 PM. The presenter will be noted author and historian Kurt Bell. The program will include Q&E, Q&DR, Q&B, Durham Iron Co., and Ede's Q&E mainline excursions. There will be a display of artifacts and ephemera as well as snacks, door prizes, raffle, and discussion at the conclusion of the show. Bring your own memorabiia to share. Tickets are $10 and are available thru J&D Whistle Stop, Broad St. (across from station), Quakertown. Seating is limited and advance purchase is encouraged. Proceeds benefit Quakertown Train Staion Historical Society. Further info may be obtained by calling 215-538-0501 or 215-453-0447. Photo of Q&E 2nd. #1 attached.

Maybe it won't work out. But maybe seeing if it does will be the best adventure ever.

You bet, Tom, sorry you can't make it, this is a good program and a popular subject matter in the Quakertown area. Even for those who may have seen Mr. Bell's presentation in other venues, they may want to see it again. The program haas been fine honed and has some additional material as well as a number of display items from the collection of Roger Lewis and myself. Proceeds benefit the Quakertown Train Station Historical Society.
Best regards,
Don Fenstermacher

Just made a correction to the phone numbers given as a source for information. The first number will get you through directly to J&D Whistle Stop (during store hours), I previously had the station's number which would have gotten you an answering machine. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused anyone.
