Former Santa Fe 0-6-0 No. 9005, on display at Hillcrest Park in Clovis since 1954, has been moved to a nearby parking lot, part of an eventual move to the Clovis Depot Model Train Museum. The move on Dec. 17 involved five tow trucks from Bennett House Movers. Because of the weather, the engine remained at the parking lot. It will be moved the rest of the way to the Clovis Depot when the ground is hard and dry.

Good news indeed. 9005 is the last such Santa Fe switcher in existence; perhaps now she'll get the care that she deserves.
