Does anyone on RyPN have any information on something that appears to be a street railway work car body located off of Victoria Avenue between B & C Streets in Pueblo, CO? It's easily visible on Google Street View by typing in 370 S Victoria Ave and appears to be some sort of work car body. Any info appreciated; thanks!

The American Chicken Coop database list a home built work car body as being "restored by the Historical Society." No traction company name is listed.

It is a former Denver Tramway yard shunter. It was used to move trailers around the yard and as a general work car. It had a short life as a coffee bar on the 16th Street Mall in Denver before winding up in Pueblo.

Interesting. Did it have a road number? Does someone have an in-service photo?

It may have served as a yard switcher, but it looks an awful lot like it started life as a McGuire-Cummins snow sweeper.

The roof profile and window layout doesn't look quite right for McGuire-Cummings standard sweepers like the ones posted above but both bear a striking resemblance to these double-truck snow sweepers, which look more like Brills:

I'm not very familiar with the Denver Tramways roster but I know that other lines had similar snow sweepers designed to be used as either sweepers or work motors.

Not just the windows, the doors, too, including one at the end that I first thought was a post-rail service modification, but which turns out was part of the car in service.

But !!@#$%^&!!! that blue van that's in the way, keeping us from getting a really good look at the thing!

Yes, it started life as a snow sweeper.
IIRC, it was 720 but I am not sure of the actual number.
