I have a brass oval plate for a Baldwin locomotive. It's has Chemin de Fer Ottoman de Jaffa à Jérusalem et Prolongements and Baldwin Pennsylvania on also #1 this was given to me and understand it was removed from a decomissioned train. Mr Shrive was a british train inspector who served in the British army and also worked in china on the rail 1920-25 and awarded a medal by the Chinese government for services to rail.
I'm trying to find more info on the plate itself and to worth rarity etc.
Maybe someone can help.

A photo of it might be helpful. You can add one here as an attachment.

Maybe it won't work out. But maybe seeing if it does will be the best adventure ever.
