The Mt. Manitou Inclined Railway is shown in the second video, as you mentioned. When I last rode it in 1987, it appeared to be quite popular and in very good condition, and it was a spectacular ride. (Although I realize its very obvious "scar" on the mountain could be seen for many miles away.) Not long thereafter, though, it was dismantled and I've never been able to find out the reason for that. Can someone offer an explanation?
