After months of frustration construction of the new home of BCER 1225 & BCER 1304 started
last week. We hope to move in by the end of July.
You can follow the progress on our web site: http://www.fvhrs.com

Congratulations! I remember visiting the original carbarn in 2009; it became a bit tight when the "Duke" arrived.

This looks great, and it is also the first I've learned of your project. Congratulations on the job.

Out of curiosity, how long is the segment you hope to operate on? That map doesn't have a scale that I could see, but it looks like you'll want to eventually rival the dreams of the Western Railway Museum in California, which owns over 20 miles of line.

Hope the line still mostly looks the way it used to!!

We will be starting on a 5 mile route. And as the crossings are upgraded the route will be extended. It is the FVHRS's vision to run the entire 13 mile route through the City of Surrey.
Except for the area around the "town center" of Cloverdale, the tracks are as original.
One of the reasons we are moving is the new location's north boundary are the old tracks, now abandoned. As such we will have about 1/4 mile for testing and training.
