Miss Phoebe says:

Now that I see
How spotlessly
Your kitchen's kept
It seems to me
It gives one quite
An appetite
This cleanly Road
Of Anthracite

A cosey seat
A dainty treat
Make Phoebe's
Happiness complete
With linen white
And silver bright
Upon the Road of Anthracite

The diner has safely reached Scranton. I set up a table on Saturday using a combination of our reproduction china and flatware with original DL&W dining car items:

Please PM me if you would like to provide financial or volunteer support to help bring the car into service - dinner in the diner isn't that far away!

I'm guessing the table and chairs aren't authentic.

The chairs are not authentic. The table, while not original has the same dimensions as the original. With the tablecloth on does it matter?

Not really. I was just trying to gauge where the table and chairs fit in. Looks awesome though.

Fantastic display, Tim!
Here is a photo I took on Wednesday, April 18 before the car was hauled into the yard.

Already friends have asked me about it, and when they could have a meal on board. Best of luck to you and the ELDCPS.
