I found this video while doing some research on the 2-6-2T at Fort Bennings, GA. Really impressive showcase of how the trench lines were put together, with some knuckleheads hanging off what appears to be a Davenport 2-6-2T while it was being unloaded at some docks, possibly in France (I didn't see anything that said "Welcome to France").

There is some really good information on the 2' there. Also, the engines you see being swung in the video were either the Baldwins or the Vulcans. Very few of the Davenports made it overseas which is why they were used so heavily back here in the states at the base railroads.

Also, if you can get your hands on the book Narrow Gauge to No Mans Land, it is a great read with a lot of good pictures.
