Need one bolt on coupler pocket and matching short shank coupler for mounting on steam loco pilot beam. One from an industrial diesel loco such as a GE 44 Tonner might work.

Will the attached pocket work for you? I no longer need it. Located in NJ. If interested I can take some measurements. Roughly speaking its about 20" long, maybe 80 pounds. Its now cleaned up and painted black. Was going to use it on a 3' gauge car but have since sold the car without the pocket.

What is the origin of the coupler pocket, its very interesting?

No idea on its origins. I bought it from a guy in Ohio to use on a wooden car we were building to go with my Porter. It just has a classic look to it. If there was interest I can go over to my storage unit over the weekend and take more pictures and measurements. It is looking for a good home.
