Most (if not all) of the apparatus shown appears to be for the rectifier power station (commercial voltage AC in, 600 volts DC out). The GE relays take me back to my days working in Edison Co. substations.

Correct, Bob. This is the last part of the Tandy electrical transformer complex. There were at least 3 other boxes which were scavenged by the bums for booze money even though the boxes were in a locked, fenced area. I just hope someone can still use this switch gearbox, or parts thereof, before I cut it up for scrap. It must go.
