I have no interest etc in the transaction.

... and while you are looking at the listing, see the other items this seller has, including assorted freight cars and what appears to be a Conrail-painted transfer caboose...

I'm just curious, shouldn't the PCC be worth more than the freight cars? It's listed at $5000., while the freight cars are listed at $7,500. ea. The cabeese are another story...

Actually, the freight cars are not worth that much either.
Typically, most any freight rail equipment is really only worth scrap value. Each car, including the cabs are worth $2-4K by weight, depending of course on local scrap rates.
I assume that he wants more due to the interiors having been converted for office space.

Someone here must know the history of the two boxcars and the hopper. I looked at the photos of the car and the only distinguishing marking is N.H. on one of the boxcar trucks, and PC on an air tank. Also looks like maybe CN?

Not sure on the boxcars, but can make out LINE on the center panels of the hopper.

The box cars look similar to a NH 32000 series PS. The hopper would be a nice save too. Judging by the seller name and location I would say its Winters Rigging, who owns these cars. Hmmm
