Recordings of the way it was. My father was an NP conductor and loved his job. In the mid 1980s, he recorded a bunch of audio tapes for me, telling about the jobs he worked on the Tacoma Division of the Northern Pacific, as it was circa 1950 or so.

I've converted them to MP3 files and placed some of them on my website. It does require QuickTime to listen to them. Remember that these were recorded as he was talking to me to send the cassette my way, so there are a few references that don't really talk about the subject. Mostly these are quite interesting, with some pretty funny stories, some real screw ups and some happenings the men covered up.

Hope you enjoy them as much as I have!
