NO!!!!!!!!

We did our first test of the pilot truck for DL&W 565! Here are the pics!

We still need to finish cut the oil wells but we are about 90% done! Very proud moment for the crew! Thanks to all who have helped.

This restoration has been one of the bright spots in railway preservation in recent memory. A somewhat forgotten, but historically important locomotive is put back together, after sitting for years scattered about.

Good work everyone!

Truly a labor of love in preservation. Without you and your crew, that old locomotive would likely have been lost forever, other than for use as a flower pot.

Thanks everyone it's been a long time coming. With only one workday a month for 2 years it's been alittle slow but we made it. ;)

We have a few things to adjust on the one side. The journal is tight going on so we do have to take apart again but we are real close. Then we can cut down the oil wells, cut the springs to get the ride height, install the front stablizer bar and flip that baby over!

Great news, and hang in there... I know those couple-times-a-month worksessions seem like nothing visible is getting done, but it does add up... see the progress on my Brookville project, from the day the first new paint was applied to now.

Part-time does mean a long-time, unfortunately.
