Not a Canadian, but I recall that the overall plans of the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel (Cranbrook, BC) was to build a building a couple or three blocks down the railroad from its initial site and move the collection under cover.

Since the website talks about a five day shut down and a "new, much larger site", this has got to be the move.

My favorite: 3 CNJ box cars, Newark NJ. I believe they were the CNJ's first steel box cars.
