In the recent thread on the move of Kansas City Southern 0-8-0 #1023 out of Schlanger Park in Pittsburg, Kansas, I added a comment mentioning Monon 4-6-2 #412 and its lease during the Second World War to the KCS. This morning, I did some additonal searching on the internet and found Jack Forbes wonderful website with photos of over 1300 State of Missouri railroad depots. Jack is the gentleman who confirmed the fact that the photo of number 412 was actually taken in front of the KCS station in Neosho, Missouri. I recommend Mr. Forbes website, which is a remarkable photo collection of Missouri depots. Here is the link:

If you check the list and find Neosho KCS, you will find the photo of the Neosho station. Also listed is a photo of Monon 4-6-2 # 412 sitting in front of it, awaiting the arrival of the Kansas City Southern's "Southern Belle".
