Saw this a while back; the most interesting bit was a speedometer apparently reading something like 90 mph!

I'm a steam fan through and through, but have to admit to being impressed with what electric power can do.

The aired on PBS back in 1983. Those were the days. There were still many vestiges of the time when dinosaurs roamed the rails. I remember a hot summer night in the early 80's getting a cabride from an Amtrak switcher crew on a SW-1 that switched the Wilmington Shop. GG-1s were everywhere, round house, turntable, coaling tower, etc... The only thing missing were K-4s simmering in the night air.
