"Pacifics 824 and 850 had their boilers lifted, they were life expired.

Wisarut Bholsithi reports that repairs have commenced and the locomotives should be ready for the 5th December 2012 train.

The two locos hauled a test train to Nakhon Pathom yesterday (November 4th).

According to a senior manager at Thonburi Depot, their overhaul included the fitting of new boilers which were made in Thailand to Japanese specification....."
