Speaking of "who can"......

Did you know that we at Wasatch now provide brand new Tube Rollers (tube expander) in any shape and size! You got it, any size, any length, we either have them on hand, or will have it on hand in short order. Even super heater expanders!

Well.....except for that oblong hole in that there tube sheet.....we don't provide an expander for that hole. I would probably put a hand hole flange back in that there hole, but then again, maybe somebody out there has an expander for that there hole....who knows?

Kindly,

JohnE.

I'm sure Matt was being purposely humorous.......but probably there were some people scratching their heads that looked at it.

I'm impressed with Orr and Sembower boilers. If this one hadn't been laid in the mud for a couple decades it would have been almost perfect except for some staybolt erosion. Very stout construction.

Does this boiler have a butt seam and a wet bottom?

The bottom isn't wet any more - we picked it up out of the mud.

Double strapped butt seam, locomotive style firebox with mud ring. I'll send you some pix later on.

BTW, there's a bit of erosion on one of the patch bolts on a blind outside corner of the mud ring - who has patch bolts?

Sounds like a personal problem. Do they make Depends for boilers?
