By my count its one for Kelly, and three write-ins for Chris Dewitt...

Did I say that Chris is currently building a riveted boiler for a Baldwin n.g. 2-6-0...

He doesn't always drink beer, but when he does....

And Chris reports that the rebuild/restoration project is currently ahead of schedule and under budget

Actually he is reusing the existing firebox and the smoke box and the crew is inserting a new riveted pressure course.

Weeeellll I don't know. I've met John, but not Kelly. My vote is still up for grabs right now.
Is George Soros involved in the vote counting procedure?

Within the last month I've seen John maneuver a 7 foot sofa/hide-a-bed up a narrow set of split-level stairs, without dinging the walls...that was cool...and he has a last name that rhymes with Osh'Kosh. How cool is that?

Then again, I've taken the behind-the-scenes tour at Strasburg...phenomenal!!

And is it just Urban Legend, or didn't they both have early career experiences at Heber???

I'm going to have to go back and re-read my voter information pamphlet before I vote.

What is fun about all of this is that this type of thread helps us all realize that we are really just normal people.

Yesterday I hung Christmas Lights with my oldest son on our home in Cheyenne. When we finished, we looked at each other and said....."That is soooooo ugly!" It really is a mess. However, the time we spent doing it was a blast. I always enjoyed going to Lynn Nystrom's home during the winter. A real old fashioned "Christmas home", complete with log burning stove, the smells of fresh cooked food and just a bunch of good times.

Yes, Kelly and I both have history at Heber. In fact, a few other board members also have early ties to Heber. Matt Austin is one of them. Though I never worked at Heber the same time that Kelly or Matt did, we do all have ties to the operation in one way or another. To this day, I view Craig Drury as being really cool. All of the other Heber guys on the board are also viewed as cool in my eyes. Matt Janssen, Mike Lewis, Doc Lewis just to name a few.

All of you take note; ROSS ROWLAND is 100% CORRECT and has told the honest, indisputable truth!

My Becky Lyn is beautiful and one of the most adorable creatures to walk the face of this earth. I can stand being the second Mormon this year to be defeated, however, both of us defeated Mormons this year have absolute beauties by our sides! That win is enough for me. Kelly, I concede, you are cooler than I am but, Becky is......well, Becky is what Becky is and to me, she is everything!

Wait....I am winning right now so the race is not over. Keep voting.....Chris D. may win after all.

Time for an ice cold Root Beer....and some BYU T.V.

Kindly,

JohnE.

Can't seem to make the "vote thing" work (rigged?). Anyway, having worked with both of these fellows, have to come down on the side of HK (Kelly).
Anyone who will chase a "64th" in setting valves (1223) has to come in first regarding cool, and then there's the Rabbit Hat!!
Take care,
Dave

Just watched a PBS special on the restoration of Sierra 3 today....and George Sapp is muy frio. He got it together despite some Kiwi getting in his way and a camera crew underfoot.......and all with No Pressure. I gotta figure him into the top contenders list.

George Sapp has a really big tea bag... seen on several engines at Railfair Sacramento... a strong point in his favor.... still favoring Chris DeWitt...
