You realize FRA has jurisdiction over that, right?

I'm not kidding. It's 24" or more, and though it is insular, it is part of a larger operation which is not insular.

Even bigger, but you aren't allowed to use a bat on the hardwood.

The boiler is on a wagon which means we could work on it. Its Abt 3's boiler and the one we fitted the chimney to.

Oddly Enough after combing through my library of images, this is one of the only images I have in recent times of myself in a railroad setting.

Here I am at the Kyoto Railway Museum on Kyoto Japan in 2007. I Lived in Okinawa Japan and Yokosuka/Tokyo Japan for a total of five years from 2002 through 2007. This image was taken while I was exploring my second home of Japan and its many railroad and historic sites. I took some time off from civilian life after completing my degree in Industrial design from the College of Architecture at Virginia Tech and joined the Navy for five great years.
Image

After returning to the US I found a job that brought me back to my enjoyment in railroading, below is my Office when not in my Office in Roanoke VA, my assigned Office Car NS-36, Norfolk Southern Track Geometry train set NS-36 & 38.
Image

See you track side somewhere on the system!
