Self-deprecation understood, but what you guys have accomplished with NS negates any hacks. (Same goes to the good folks in Tennessee).

All tickets for two of three Horse Shoe Curve trips are sold out, with "wait lists" for additional cars should they be secured in time for the trip.

Sandy, I mentioned that on the page prior, but we still have coach class, first class, and Dover Harbor tickets available for Monday.

We've been able to add a few more seats to the Nickel Plate Limited out of Rocky River on May 12th.

Any plans as of yet regarding the schedule of ferry moves for the 765 to and from Pennsylvania? Also, during the trips from Lewistown to the curve, will the engine be based out of Enola? I'm riding one of the trips but am planning to use my vacation time as a 765 groupie while the engine is in PA. Thanks in advance!

Remember that 765 will be pulling employee specials out of Altoona around the Curve and back the weekend of May 18-19. Dig around and you'll find a planned itinerary, involving ferrying to Altoona the week before, ferrying to Enola after the Altoona trips, etc.

As previously stated elsewhere, the loco will indeed be based and running out of Enola for the Lewistown trips. Steam speeds are still officially restricted by NS official operating rules to 40 mph.

It's not uncommon for our volunteers to be there every day of the week as the season gets closer, and that's been the case in the last handful of weeks.

Fire me an email or send me your number, in either case I can have the place open for you, but its likely we'll be grinding or painting or cussin' or shoveling there regardless.
