Does anyone know the status of the BM&R 425? There was a rumor at one time not too long ago they may have excursions this fall. Any updates would be appreciated.

Thanks

Joe

It would be Reading & Northern 425. The engine is currently sitting in the Port Clinton shops getting lots of attention. It was looking like fall but now could be later. Lots of money being invested......look for a busy 2013 for sure.

I know it's a few months after my post, but you could have just made a reply to my topic instead of starting another topic. Here's the link to my topic from may.

Her trailing truck is still up on the "work chalk board" at Strasburg- saw it Sunday along with work for PM 1225 ex SP 1744 etc. Looking forward to the return of 425!

Yes, but that wouldn't satisfy Len's ..er 'Joe's' trolling obsession.

As to not starting a new thread, there are 29,000 topics in this forum and if one hasn't been used in the last several days it can be hard (though not impossible) to find the thread, way back wherever. Does anyone have an idea how to make it easier to find relevant topics before starting one? Subdividing the Interchange into topic areas is one idea, but then we would miss the latest posts in areas we don't check regularly.
