"The TRAIN 2003 convention will be held in Huntington, West Virginia, on the first weekend in November including a Friday (subject to adjustment). I would encourage anybody who cares about the tourist railroad industry to plan to attend."

Last year at the Board meeting I understand San Fransico was being considered for 2003. I wonder what has changed or will SF be the site for 2004? I am glad Huntington was chosen for the 2003 convention though. Since it is much closer to Indiana.

I am not sure what was the reson for the change in intentions. There was a solicitation of venues at the convention and Huntington stepped up to the plate bravely. Any chance of a NKP Berk and a nice consist to Hinton and return, or, better yet, to Pittsburgh?

The C. P. Huntington Chapter NRHS in Huntington hosted TRAIN some years ago; the seminars were good; train ride was Amtrak 50/51 to White Sulphur Springs and back on Sunday.
