It appears Kromer has stopped production of its winter wool Blizzard Cap, an oldtime favorite of railroaders in steam days. A new company will take up production. Kromer sells mostly to welders now, and will only make the summer caps. Last I knew, Kromers were still union made, making them (with Carhartt) about the only made in USA union-produced clothing.
