Wanamie #9 is now in Grand Rapids, MI.

The Kepner lokie is still, apparently, in the Pacific Northwest.

I don't see any mention here of a mining type (very low profile) 0-4-0T of approximately 42" gauge on display at Coolsprings Park, near Macomber, WV (On US 50 just east of WV 72). There is no ID on the loco, which almost certainly came from some underground operation.

The locomotive was built by Vulcan Iron Works for Crab Orchard Coal Co. It never carried an identifying number during its service with the company. It was NEVER used underground by Crab Orchard Coal, but was used to move little coal gons to the tipples.

She's a doll, but not on the list as I have only been tracking lokies used by anthracite mining companies in PA. I believe Crab Orchard Coal Co. was a West Virginia B-coal mine, correct?

Yes, Alan, that's the low profile loco I mentioned. But when it first arrived at Coolsprings Park it had no cab. This cab sure looks like a later addition, something off a Vulcan gas loco by its shape. That very short stack certainly hints at some operation with a very low clearance.
