I just checked on R&N's website to see if they announced and scheduled excursions for 425 in 2014 and couldn't find any info on this. I was also wondering if there will be 113 trains rides this year as well? I also did a search on here but couldn't find any info regarding this. does anyone know? And sorry if this has been discussed of mentioned before.

I guess you can say that? I'm just wondering if they announced any scheduled excursions but maybe didn't update their site or facebook or anything yet? Figured someone on here would know for sure whether there's any planned or not in the future.

Wait, what? You came here looking for news? About railroad preservation? You know they have websites for that kind of thing.

Hey, at least he exhausted all other options before coming here. I'm actually impressed.

From the current R&N employee magazine published on their website:

"Of course, the LGSR will be running its annual Autumn Leaf Train
Excursions from Port Clinton to Jim Thorpe in October. On October 4
and 18, these rides will be pulled by diesel engines, and tickets are $39
per person. On October 11 and 12, steam locomotive No. 425 will power
the train, and tickets are $69 per person."

So, there's that at least.
