My apologies. I meant running. While the Monon was bought by the L&N, it's isn't as much KY history. The E6 is in terrible condition. The 0-8-0 also needs extensive work.

152 isn't running either, hasn't run for three years.

And how is the 152 coming? Is progress being made? And what about the L&N EMD E6? Any work being done on it? Anything at all?

Nothing has been done to either one. Nor will until some money is found. 770 is not a priority of any kind.

And that 0-8-0 hasn't run since the 1950s and looks it.

Is the BL-2 operating? Last I heard was it had either traction motor or generator issues.

Yes, it is operating. It was on trains last week, in fact.

They aren't the only CN gems listed. A 1913 business car is on the list.

Wow! The Agawa from the Algoma Central! That's a very nice car (from what I've seen of it). Just wish I had the money to snag it, and a place to run it. I would guess a lot of the older Algoma Central equipment will be going away under CN management.

Prep your fundraising now!

From the Trains News Wire: Iowa Pacific purchases Illinois Central E units from CN

The Algoma Central "Agawa" has been spotted on the move on a flat car:

No word yet on new owner.

If I remember correctly, that car had been for sale on the CN website for several years. Looks like someone finally bought it.

What about the CN/IC ex-WSMTD/BN E unit that was in CN colors?

Canadian National kept the 102 and 103. It was the 100 and 101 that stayed in the executive IC paint scheme that they disposed of.

They've even repainted them in the past couple of years into a new paint scheme that's sort of a blend of their classic paint scheme with more modern elements like their "Wet Noodle" logo incorporated into it.

Is it correct that IC bought 7? If they are keeping two, and Ed E bought two, did they scrap 3? I had thought only 9914.
