Dear group, If you are in the Central NJ or greater NYC area please join me this Sunday, November 16th to celebrate the opening of the Monmouth Museum show, "All Aboard, Railroads and the Historic Landscapes they Travel".

I have spent several months of long days to put together this exhibition features the work of myself, David Plowden, Jim Shauughnessy, Travis Dewitz, Mel Patrick Ron Wright, John Sanderson and Scott Lothes. In addition friend and noted preservationist Bennett Levin has provided a selection of over 20 vintage travel posters from the golden era of passenger rail travel to accompany the main exhibition. The opening is from 3-5 and is free and open to the public. For more info you can visit the blog link below! http://wp.me/pRGsM-T5

The ad has a Canadian Pacific locomotive on it. Interesting.

Plowden and Shaughnessy both photographed a lot of Canadian steam at the end of the era, though the exhibition is largely US based it's ventures up to our Northern neighbor
too!
