A member at HVRM, told me about the steam locomotive in Olmsted Falls, Ohio and this is what I found on the internet:

https://www.flickr.com/photos/mathersteve/9937616406/

Vulcan c/n 3313 built 11/22 for Sturm & Dillard at Columbus, Ohio as their number 100. Sold to South Bend Sand & Gravel in South Bend, Indiana in 1946. Later displayed at Machinery & Supply Company in Swanson Heights, Indiana circa 1970-77. The member at HVRM told me that this engine was from the Chicago Elevated, which obviously is not the case. But he was correct about its Indiana "connection". Although the little saddle tanker has a "gaudy" paint job, this one doesn't look too bad at all, and the 0-4-0T actually looks pretty good! I wonder about the wood bodied bay window caboose. Anyone have any information on it?

Thanks.

Les

S. Roger Kirkpatrick's tome (1st ed. 2000) indicates that it is CNW 8084 located in Shopping Village Olmsted Falls, OH with 0-4-0T locomotive #100.

How's that for a start?
