Bangor & Aroostook's last F3. Was dolled up in original paint scheme a few years ago for a celebration. BAR is now MM&A, in sad financial shape. They recently slashed workers' wages 25% from their already low state.

That unit still looks good, though. Hey! That would sure look good repainted into Jersey Central colors!

Locally, we are told that the new railroad owners appreciate the status and antiquity of the F3. The unit has been towed up to Derby Shops for storage and protection. There are the remains of four partially disassembled GP9's still at Northern Maine Junction. These locos are in the old red, white, and black scheme and were victims of wrecks years ago. None of the Geeps will run again.
