Does anyone know of a supplier for the metal handles that were fitted to the wooden sash windows on Locomotive Cabs? Or wold this be something one would have to have made from scratch?

I can speak to the CPR standards; they used a simple shop-made metal handle, which has a CPR drawing for same.

Can I guess that your are dealing with a CNR loco cab sash? Highly likely that they did the same thing "the other guys" did.

There are commercially-available handles that look to be a very close match for the original CPR handles. Perhaps that would solve your problem.
