I wonder how many other relatively obscure terminal or switching roads there have been over the years. . .

For the record, the National Tube Company soon came under control of United States Steel where it was operated for years as the National Tube Division of USS. My guess is that 0-6-0 #21 might have ended up being lettered for U.S. Steel.
