I only saw two of these on the Michigan Northern and the KLS&C. Glad to see that one is being worked on. These cars had some unusual details. The structural part of the girder panel is on the inside of the car, next to the seats; the outside skin is lightweight steel. And notice the extensible step that comes out when the trap is lifted.

The Boyne Valley Rwy only kept two coaches, later sold to Michigan Northern. I don't know the details, but the third car was destined to a boy scout group I was told. It was described to me as being a "wooden" car. Note, all of my information is at best second-hand. I never saw the third car.
