I am making a headlight bezel foundry pattern for a 14" Sunbeam locomotive headlight. I am working from a fragment which only has one screw which holds the lens ring in place. I would like to know the correct number of screws used to hold this ring in place. I know the 16" headlight has eight. Any help would be appreciated.

Bernie,

I believe that the style you are looking for has 8 screws to hold the glass in the bezel.

Attached is a photo.

Hope this helps,

JD,

The photo you are showing is the 16" diameter version that I mentioned above. I am probably going to go with six screws for the 14" version. I believe that the 14" version is a rare item.
