"Work began earlier this week on a steam locomotive cutaway to be used to help educate visitors on how a steam locomotive operates. Former Reading Co. #1187, a unique camelback locomotive which has not been used at the Strasburg Rail Road in quite some time, has been dedicated for this project. The sale of scrap from the cutaways will also serve as another source of revenue for the RR."
