Sounds like a good turnout in support of funding to acquire NN track north to mainline connection. Not very often do you get 120 miles of transportation system for a measly $1M, a bargain!

It might be even a better bargain. The last info I have (Sep 2002) was that the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power was willing to sell the trackage to the city of Ely for $700,000, purportedly less than half of the scrap value.
