Well, the movie LION was filmed in Australia, but that doesn't necessarily mean Sia's video was. The equipment seems of North American ilk to me; older stuff in Australia is styled similar to UK equipment.

I wonder if its Travel Town. I haven't been to Travel Town since their current trainshed was built, so I can't say for sure.

Besides just curiosity about the location, another reason I ask is I'd like to know whether the "grafitti" on the cars (words from the song) were actually painted on the cars, applied as decals, or its virtual (CGI in post-production). My guess is its CGI, which would be nice if true since it means they didn't mark the equipment.

maybe a couple posts later someone goes "that's where all that $%# graffiti came from!!!".... wouldn't be the first time a producer did something dumb (like shoot a scene on an active railway bridge)

It's Travel Town. I recall a TV commercial advertising online dating services for middle-aged adults that was filmed there, and one scene from the commercial has a fellow standing inside the empty coach seen in the opening sequence of the music video.

Yes, its Travel Town. And all the graffiti is CGI.

When I first saw the title of this thread, I read it as "S1a Never Give Up Video." That would have been a great film about the New York Central's Niagara 6000.

I got motion sickness just watching all the artsy fartsy camera work.

The equipment is North American. Union Pacific graphics show up at 1:18, 2:06 and other points.
